Angry IP Scanner allows you to view and scan all IP addresses, IP ranks, networks and ports of computers on a local network Information: Angry IP scanner is a very fast IP address scanner and a port scanner. It can scan IP addresses in any range as well as all their ports. It is multiplatform and light. It requires no installation and can be freely copied and used anywhere. Angry IP simply scans each IP address to check if it is alive, then possibly resolve its hostname, determines the MAC address, scans ports, etc. The amount of data collected on each host can be expanded with plugins. It also has additional features, like NetBIOS information (computer name, workgroup name and currently connected to the Windows user), preferred IP address ranges, web server discovery, customizable openers, and so on. Scanning results can be saved in CSV, TXT, XML or IP-Port list files. With the help of plugins, Angry IP Scanner can gather all information about scanned IP. Anyone who can write Java code is able to write plugins and extend the functionality of Angry IP Scanner. In order to increase the scanning speed, it uses a multithreaded approach: a separate scan thread is created for each scanned IP address. Simple: The interface is simple. Visible options and controls are minimized, the target host name and the range of IP addresses are set by default and if you scan the local network, you will probably be able to launch the program and immediately click "Start". The program uses multi-thread scanning to maintain high performance and displays the basic details of each device as it was discovered: IP address, ping time, host name and open ports. Optional fields include TTL, Filtered Ports, Web Detection, HTTP Sender, NetBIOS Info, MAC Address, and MAC Provider. Unlike similar tools, the report does not let you manually navigate through a long list of IP addresses. There are shortcuts to go directly through open hosts, dead or alive, select hosts of different types and perform actions on them: redefine, delete, export in various formats, more.
